    Speaking of Oregon, local ABC affiliate reported on evening news that the state had decriminalized cocaine, heroin, meth and other drugs.. Darwinism in action.

    Not only that Portland has decriminalized... most crime. Theft, burglary, mugging, vandalism will not be investigated or prosecuted. Due to a completely unrelated strange coincidence there has been a meteoric rise in shootings and other violence despite reducing police presence, they are now exploring further gun restrictions for otherwise law abiding citizens. Probably Trump voters, anyway.

    They want to get rid of the police. But I bet that a Committee of Vigilance would get squished real quick. Is this our future? Who is waiting in the shadows to foment more unrest and then step in ala collapse of the Weimar republic?

    The Policing neglect is only in the bigger towns, so far... If you get out in the countryside like where Mikey, and CC/Tracy live, that kind of thing is NOT tolerated, and will get you DEAD in a hurry.. Especially if you are east of Mt Hood, or south of Salem...
