Just spent 3 days getting my 81 year old Mother signed up for the vaccine. I hope that she doesn't get sick before the 21st! I hope they don't run out of vaccine! I hope that there are no side effects! This is serious folks! My Nephew, his family and in-laws had Covid over the holidays (we just finished exchanging Christmas gifts last week)! Thankfully, most of them had mild to moderate symptoms, but his 60 year old FIL was in the hospital for 2 weeks and came within a hairs breath of being placed on a ventilator. He is now recovering at home, but still has a long row to hoe before he regains his strength. I'm gonna take the vaccine myself as soon as it is available, because I'm scared and tired. I'm scared that a loved one is going to die or have their health ruined, I'm scared that I am going to die and have my health ruined, and I'm scared of the vaccine too! I'm tired of being scared! I'm tired of wearing that damn mask! I'm tired of washing my hands! I'm tired of being afraid of people! I'm tired of not being able to go to the gym, pool, restaurant, book store, ball games, movies, etc.. Like so many others I just want things to get back to the way they use to be!
