I read these advertisements all the time in the 60s and early70's ,,, ,, never ordered anything from them ,, I just couldn't believe that it could be true . Does anyone know if these were actually legitimate advertisements??? I just need to know if I need to just kick myself in the ass .

 

I bought a $35 Mauser through the mail.

Bought several of those deals in the '60s rated NRA good to very good. The best being Schmidt-Rubins K31 and K11 for thirty to forty bucks. Kick away.

 

I may just build me an Ass Kicking machine,, and just stand in front of it every morning before heading out to work,,,,,,

 

Klein’s in Chicago, got an ‘03-A3 Springfield in excellent condition for $40. Shipped to my front door. Wish I still had it.

 

While some folks are bitch'n about COVID locldown, others are hoping for a real silent night - as in zero Incoming.

 

you know after over 20 years of this sh1t, (and trillions in waste) maybe its time to just declare victory and leave.

Christmas day '83 ,, the CO was letting some of us make a call home for Christmas. I was in the process of making the call, going thru on the old MARS system. The phone was ringing at my parents house,, all of a sudden,, we took 2 incoming artillery rounds on our AO ,, that caused a quick cancelling of the call ,, and thankfully the rounds hit before Mom picked up the phone and heard them rounds hit ,, or it would have had her worried sick for who knows how long.
