That's some real old bread

Looks like a really soft lead bullet that has hit sand. From a cannon of some sort.

 

Petrified & slightly deformed ACORN ! A rock, generic (not good at those).

Elephant dropping ? Never seen one, but figured it was silly enough to be considered.

I still go with artillery shell of some sort but scratch lead wrong color for that. But massively deformed.

It looks like the doorknob to my Grandmother's very scary basement when I was a kid...and it looked that big to me when I was a kid...



But they tore her house down and made it a Parking Lot for The Citadel...so I know that's not it...

My daughter has found a couple okf what I thought was iron ore on our farm. But looking at those pics I think they maybe meteorites.
