I did that once. I pulled into a rest area in Iowa one winter, the pavement looked like wet concrete, but it was ice. I stepped out if the truck, stayed on my feet, but slid in slow motion all the way to the end of the parking lot! I knew my wife was going to be getting up to use the restroom, and I had a hard time making it back in time to warn her. At one point, I thought I would have to crawl on my hands and knees!

 

I'll give her an 8.5/10 for making the landing look graceful.

 

No extra points for trying to save her glasses?

That was a pretty quick fall. I watched it an immediately remembered watching a young lieutenant in leather dress shoes slide down an icy road all the way out of town in Narvik, Norway. He managed to stay on his feet all the way to the bottom of the hill with all of us laughing at him the whole time. He had to climb back to the shopping district in the snow, taking frequent breaks when he could find a lamp post to hang onto.

 

S faced drunk = walking on snow covered ice .. you fall down, a lot.

That is cool! I would look out the window for aliens if I heard that! It has a space invaders kind of vibe.

 

She wouldn't be walking like that if she broke her ankle.

 

That is a fact ,,, or she is the toughest gal I've ever seen ,, and I've seen a few tough one . I broke mine a year ago ,, and when I 1st tried walking on it ,, it just completely rolled to the side ,,,and I was walking on the bone at the end of my shin bone ,, but she was right easy on the eyes.
