These battery powered grinders are becoming one of my favorite tools, with metal-cutting disk. Keep in mind the scum-bags likely have them too. A lock is unlocked in a few seconds with very little noise. I use a Metabo at work but Santa Claus is bringing me a Dewalt for home. Zoom zoom! Oh yeah, the guard needs to be removed and thrown out into the sea. Trust me. :D

Aw, MAN, I thought we was talkin bout the Grinder Sammich's! Give me a Hot Chicago Style Italian Beef Grinder with Ajose, with a large side of fries and i'm all set!

Seriously, for Grinders, i'm completely into the FLEX brand, especially the variable speed units, talk about versatile and Torquey as hell! I have used up most of the top brands, and while DeWalt and Makita seem to hold up better then some, FLEX are by far the toughest!

Yep.....not only are most locks a piece of cake to cut thru, most safes are the same way. Front/door of a safe is real stout, all the rest is mostly much thinner metal (outer and inner layer) with a layer of high temp cement between. Angle grinder and a hammer to knock out the cement will let you in most of them pretty easy. Cure to this is bolt the safe on a concrete floor in the corner of a masonry wall and cover the top and last exposed side with masonry/poured concrete.....make it harder to get to those less protected sides/etc and let the front door do what it does best.

^^^^Good post. Locking the tools in said safe that can perform this is a start. No sense handing the scumbags anything easy. :D

I didn’t realize how expensive the Metabo was. Maybe there’s a good reason. Hopefully the Dewalt can hold its own. (If Santa Claus delivers)

LOL I just posted a thread with some videos and using my junky little Makita cleaning a flat top. The Meat might not be too awful hard but the carbon build up it leaves behind is :)

Ok so it seems quite a few of us go right to food and food processing right away. Glad I am not the only one.
