I took my kids for a checkup and flu shots, I'm not a big flu shot guy. The doctor asked me if I would take any of the new Covid vaccines coming out. I told her I was iffy on the vaccines and was worried about side effects going into the future. I keep reading about vaccination cards and being able to work or travel. It may not be totally forced but the pressure to get a vaccination shot will become very tough in the near future. My thought anyway. I've also read that the covid vaccine is a totally different kind of vaccine than has been used in the past. it all makes you wonder.
I think I'll wait a few weeks until we see if the general public reacts the same way as the test subjects.

I'm not an anti vax'er, but given the speed of all this, the lack of testing and general experience with not only how the rona reacts, but how we react to the vax, has me more worried about the vax then the rona! And, with the dems pushing hard for a card, and limits/restrictions on those who decide not to risk the unknown, yea, NOT! Forcing me to do anything is likely to get some one shot!

Would they exempt people who have had covid and recovered because of natural immunity? If so, better to keep getting inaccurate pcr tests until one of them calls you positive and sit hone 14 days and get the “natural immunity” card.
They've passed legislation in the UK protecting Pfizer from getting sued over whatever the vax might bring. I've said it before, I'm not an anti-vaxxer by any means, but I'mma pass on this undertested and overpushed miracle in a syringe for now. Also this was mildly interesting... Not that I have now, nor ever had, an interest in getting knocked up, but be kinda funny if word spread among the breedier classes of folk that it might knock them out of any future gene pool contributions. On a slightly unrelated note I was once given a script for antibiotics once that the warning sheet (one of 5 pages) listed a possible side effect was spontaneous rupturing of the Achilles tendon. I asked my primary doc (a barely understandable Russian ER doc 'scribed it to me) and he was like, eh yeah I've personally had two patients who had that result, lemme hook you up with something else.
My biggest issue is the CEO of Pfizer selling off his stock on the very day the vaccine was announced. It would seem that if there are no problems, he stood to be a very wealthy man but sold off 62% of his Pfizer stock for 5.6 M, about half his annual salary. Makes me wonder if about five months after release, women will start dropping premature babies with a host of terrible birth defects? They passed that thing about not being able to sue for side-effects from it, another warning flag. If I am correct, the next step would be mandatory sterilization unless you meet whatever criteria the masters deem acceptable.
Thinking thalidomide as well. Just one of the reasons I'm going to wait a while, demote myself to the low risk group and continue hermitizing myself.

Given all the incorrect information about this 'so-call' pandemic, I will not be taking any vaccine. I will take my chances. Let's face it, every time they put out some information about Covid-19 they reverse themselves 2 weeks later, it's more disinformation than information and now they want to stick me with a vaccine - not going to happen. Personally, I believe this pandemic is a massive hoax. Yes, there is a virus out there. Yes, it can kill you like many viruses but it's not as deadly as they want you to believe. Yes, it was planned and used epidemic controls for other agendas (never let a good crisis go to waste) like controlling the election voting. Yes, they still got something up their sleeve and will not let up the controls until they complete it...maybe not even then. Also, there was an interesting article yesterday in Carlson (FOX News) that the Red Cross is now saying they found Covid-19 in blood samples dating back to December 2019 in both the West and East coast states...much, much earlier than previously stated by the WHO, CDC or China so...where did it come from?

I'd rather it be out for awhile and see what gets reported about it. I'm old (67) but not in real bad shape. It seems most of the deaths are people with end stage renal disease, heart failure, years as diabetics who haven't taken very good care of themselves (Indian reservations), terminal cancer patients, and combinations of the above plus who knows what else, etc. You hear about the occasional 20 year old, but some of them are in worse shape than 75 year olds, having done little but sit in front of a monitor and joystick for the last 15 years stuffing their face. Worked with a guy whose 19 year old son suffered from DVT blood clots, packed up in his lungs and damn near killed him. That's an old person's disease from years of doing nothing but sitting. Asked my doctor back in August when I went in for my yearly checkup if he had seen much Covid. "Nope", he said. "Wrong demographic". Yeah well his patients mostly appear to be in my age and income group, very middle class. Didn't say which demographic was doing all of the dying.
Think I will wait and see what the 2-3 year long term trials results are and just watch the lab rats and see how they fare with it in the meantime.
Not happening in this household. Will not even get a regular flu shot. Last time I got one in 1999 I got the flu from it within a day or two and missed 2 days of work. Call the Dr and he said I must have already had it before the shot and I told him BS. Have not had the flu in 21 years so they can guess where I will tell them to shove their vaccines.
As an Adult, I've only gotten the Flu once! The one time I took the Flu Shot! I got the shot on a Tuesday or Weds. Spent the weekend feeling like crap. Two months later I was bedridden for a week with the Flu and was weak for a month afterwards! Never Again!!! I may learn the Hard Way, but by God I learn the first damn time!!!
The real shocking thing is that "They" want to make us get the shot and then have proof we got it! They will then tie us down the everything weather or not we got the shot or not! Imagine cot being able to access your banking unless you show proof, or not able to go shopping, or get needed meds, not being able to get/hold a job, or....... I can see this going full communist in a hurry, and it's something we all need to take very serious! I have no intentions of getting this vax, and am preparing for what may come if they require it, and require proof!
Some of my buddies are resisting. An old cantankerous friend has been fighting for his right not to mask. He had a Drs note stating he had heart trouble and had a pacemaker making it hard for him to catch his breath. He lives in a liberal college town. Had to argue more often than not to shop. He also argued that his medical problems were none of their damn business. His Dr caved last week and required him to wear a mask to come see him. No mask. No visit. No meds. My friend will not last long without his meds. Sounds like their holding back life supporting meds if he doesn't COMPLY. Yeah it's going to get bad. Edit. They suspended the license of a Dr down here who didn't required patients to mask up during certain hours. He had hours they had to. Just like the grocery stores here. Nope. No more practice for the Doctor. This is only the beginning.
