This practice seems to be getting much worse. Whatever happened to having character? In the age of the internet, folks need to be recognized for something as simple as fueling up a vehicle for the next guy. (An example) No wonder I mostly like to roll alone. I won’t catch an assault charge punching myself. Lol. There was a wrestling quote about character that was really good. Off I go to search.
Integrity is an Individual Trait, that does not translate well into a Crowd situation... It is similar in this way, to “Common Sense”... As an Individual, most folks display fairly well developed Common Sense, but get three, or four, or more folks together, the bigger the group, the less Common Sense is displayed... and we wounder why Legislatures and such display such a lack of such an important quality... Well Integrity is the same...
Guy on Youtube the other day said we have to stop calling it common sense and start calling it rare sense since so few people seem to have it these days. He's not wrong.
Politics is a little different I think. I heard a comidian once say (Yakoff Smirnoff I think) "Politics is the perfect word for it... Poli being the Latin for many.. and Tics being blood sucking parasites"
Character, Integrity, self control, lots of other, have been "dying out" for a long time now. I've done "good deeds" for others with no thought of reward (there shouldn't be any) or really a good reason other than "because I can". My kids would ask "why did you that?", my response, "because I could and I should help out where I can whenever I can". My family has stopped calling it "common sense" a long time a go. Watching how kids act explains a lot. No punishment for bad behavior, No repercussions for wrong doing, and "everyone is a winner"

I see it on the roads a lot, some being much more important than others. I’m also reminded of my days in a wood mill. The guy training me says “don’t ever scumbag the next guy on shift because turn about is fair play.” Guess what? I was scumbagged to start my shift almost every time!!!! Am I supposed to lower myself to scumbaggery? (That was for Gator 45/70 lol.) I don’t operate that way. I do get the urge to drop guys occasionally though. Oops.
If you have Integrity nothing else matters. If you don't have Integrity nothing else matters. can't remember who quoted that but use it a lot. Tell all the new Firefighters coming in that they are held to a higher standard in the community even if it is just as a Volunteer.

I guess I was ranting a bit. Human behavior is mostly predictable and I know that. On to the next subject matter........What About The Trebuchet? Lol.
Don't forget the ever present "Blue Falcon's" we have running around all over the place! All those Kerens and Kens who absolutely must stick their noses in other peoples business and flex all that superiority of theirs they got blessed with! Once society starts to go down hill a little more, expect to see these Blue Falcons getting punched in the face a lot more, live and in HD video preferably! LOL "Blue Falcon" is Mil Slang for Buddy Phucker, in case you were not familiar with that term!
I see folks that absolutely trash things that aren’t theirs and SMFH. Could you imagine making your final stand somewhere with some scumbag running your backhoe for example. Slam, jam, ram, power shift, and etc etc?! Replacement parts are 3 counties away protected by armed guards and Rottweilers. No folks like that I’m positive at SM but..... No wonder Gramps would occasionally punch someone on his landing. They wouldn’t punch back either from what I hear, he’d help them up and they’d all head to the bar. Lol, Loggers.
