I have a Benelli M1 Super 90 with Ghost rings, surefire, interchangable chokes and tube extention... I've been finally getting into shotguns, and I'm not into Ghost rings, but I don't believe there is any way to take them off... correct? So my best bet is to sell it and get another shotgun...
Hey nomad if you plan on using any slugs you might want to give the ghost rings a chance and practice a little takes a little getting use to but are basicly just an oversized peep sight I had them put on my moosberg 590 and they pickup the sight picture a lot faster and you see more area down range
No need to take it off (but a hacksaw will always work) or sell it. Get another, you'll become addicted. (Not a bad way to go --)
I've come to like the XS front site. I've shot them out past 100 meters with slugs and it works... (Shot it side by side with Ghost Rings) This isn't my only shotgun...
I've got them on my Rem 11-87 tactical and at first didn't think I would like them, but after a little practice, don't miss much. I'm with the others, work em for awhile before getting rid of it.
