I have read where some folks here ont he board enjoy the antics of "Donut Operator" - a former police office who occasionally purports to 'educate' folks on general law topics. As far as it goes, it makes for a stating point for more research on the part of a viewer. More research is always a good thing. I offer an alternative to Donut (and the snark) in the form of the "Audit the Audit" channel () Here they play videos of police/citizen interaction and offer information of the specific laws in play -- by the state or city justification, an important point. While may of the subjects are 'unlikable' the channel does offer a view into the more nuanced parts of law enforcement. The moderator offers a grade for the participants (police and subject) Again, these videos make for a starting point on your own research. Warning, you will see a lot of "Sovereign Citizen type behaviors. You also see how well this works and does not.
Absolutly- I LMAO on nearly all of the open videos. OTOH, where the folks in the DO vids keep saying "I know my rights" - the ATA threads actually enumerate those rights and educate where, in fact, you **don't have the right**.... The ATA channel also pushes the "Right to remain silent" - never a bad choice.
Between D.O. and Angry Cops, I get my fix of snark and funny! If you haven't watched any of the Angry Cops videos, Adam is one funny dude, being current National Guard and a LEO as well as a former drill instructor, he puts a great mix of funny out!
