Yes, I saw this in my morning read of the news. One of my favorite films were made by him, Christopher Plummer, and Michael Caine, 'The Man Who Would Be King.' It had everything that made a story/film great, friendship, adventure, strength of character and luck (good and bad), perhaps fate is a better word. I never cared for the James Bond series but of all the Bonds, he was definitely the best. What a great voice...
One of the few greats, with a HUGE list of great movies to his name! Hunt for Red October will always be my favorite!
One of my favorites- "The Red Tent". A very interesting tail about different ways men deal with their fate.
I liked him in everything except some sort of acid trip futuristic movie he did way back..... RIP,Bond James Bond !!!
Sadly it can. Can't remember the name of that movie but it was beyond horrible. Can't think of anything else he did that did not range from good to great.
Yahall mean this one? Sign of a great actor that he went on to a great career despite it. Best James Bond there was.
thinkin of the film Zardoz? weird movie... very... was a funny lookin... supporter? he was wearin... Zardoz (1974)
I also heard that this AM. Never met the man , but my father was his double kinda if you didn't really know Sean .. My Parents would take cruse ships all over the place , 5 or 6 + a year. Woman would come up and ask dad for his autograph or want a picture with him ETC. Mom would say he's Frank not Sean !! the woman would say he sounds like sean !! Nope thats a british accent not scots !! Mom would lose it sometimes dad said . My Father is the same age as Sean. RIP Sean Connery Sloth
^^^^Those are very similar to my red trunks lost in the Cle Elum River circa 1970. I blame my Mom. Sure I pooped them but she didn’t secure them in the river with enough rocks. *gets angry*
