I mentioned our mayor resigned recently (A lib lawyer from San Fran)

The city council reorganized and named an acting mayor - and Anchorage hit the trifecta.


Quinn-Davidson, 40, will be the first woman and openly gay person to serve as mayor or acting mayor of Anchorage, the Anchorage Daily News reported. The Anchorage Assembly voted Friday to appoint Quinn-Davidson, an attorney, to the role.

During a special meeting on Friday, Felix Rivera — who as the chair of the Assembly was himself poised to be the city’s first openly gay mayor, as well as its youngest and first Latino mayor — said he recommended Quinn-Davidson for the job.

A lib, a lawyer, a women (?) and now mayor. Anchorage has skipped over being Seattle North and is now firmly in the San Francisco North way of doing business.

The Police Union supported these loons and now they (the cops) will pay the price - along with the long suffering taxpayer (the few left).

Much hilarity and hi-jinks to follow, no doubt.
