    I’m setting 90 miles inland on the western edge of the path. Told to expect 100 mph gust. That was when landfall was a Cat 1. It’s a large Cat 4 now. The golden triangle is going to lose it glitter soon. Then in will come tens of millions in federal recovery money so the real looting can begin and FEMA employees can justify their jobs by giving it away. Bend over Tax Payers. You are about to get taken to the cleaners again. God forbid people should insure their homes.

    We are under a hurricane watch herein north Louisiana now. I’m 77 and I believe it’s a first time for me. So far just a little lite rain and no wind. The people south of me are catching hell about right now. Be safe my southern friends.

    Thanks everyone, The eye passed over my hideaway,I have or rather had lots of large trees out there,No way I can get there for the time being.
    oldman11,Pretty sure the eye wall should be on top of you,Good Luck up there!
    Lots of street flooding here about's,Sugar cane is horizontal,Few limbs down,We good this morning !

    We had damage and power outages that lasted a week earlier this month and it was only from remnants of a tropical storm that gave us 70mph winds. I can only imagine what you are all going through. NO!!

    Well I’m out of electricity,transformer blowed,trees down on wires, house ok no damage. I have my generator Up and running,everything is ok . I had loaned my gen out to a friend and so had a hard time getting it started. Everything’s fine,we needed the rain. Everybody ok l hope.
