Long term forecast is for the northern hemisphere to cool be unusually cool about a month from now. What do you think?
Hard to say...one year we'll get a couple days below freezing, the next none, then we'll have a couple weeks bitter cold....who knows?
Were already seeing the leaves changing, two months ahead of where they should be, the doggies are blowing out their coats in copious amounts, not the normal little blow this time of year, and the summer has been kind of short and extra mild, so.......................
This summer has been pretty mild in Tx too, the storms have been worse too. I think this winter is going to be COLD all over the USA. If iceage farmer and NASA are correct we may have some colder seasons for the next couple of years.
It's Texas, who can tell? 105 today, hotter tomorrow. Sold off some Bulls today so less to feed over winter.
105 today here in the north end of Texas. The REAL north end, not that silly claim DFW makes about being North Texas. Supposed to be 88 tomorrow, then 97, then 90. Lows running between 70 and 58 at night. Mother Nature is a little bi-polar right now but I've seen worse. Last prediction I saw for my region was a much warmer than usual fall but haven't gone looking for winter predictions.
^^^^^^ I am thinking that blue west Montana will leak over into north Idaho and N.E. Washington ^^^^^^^ It will be good to have a very heavy snow year. Chase all the new transplants out of here in the spring. G-d is good and knows where people really need to be.
Our planet's magnetic field has been weakening, and it will continue to do so. Our star is the primary motivator instrumental in all weather on the planet, and the electromagnetic components involved are only magnified as the Earth's magnetic field continues to weaken. All of this leads up to an increase in upper level winds, temperature swings, and UV effects. The charged particles in the atmosphere electrifies the ambient air particles already present, all mingling and leading to some quite scary processes. All of this and more is very clearly explained here:
I need to get started cutting firewood......for the winter of 2022-23......but it's still too hot to do so.
If it drops to -10 here at night again for nearly 2 weeks I could burn most of a winters worth of wood in that time.
NASA avoided saying our Earth will have a bad winter just that we are entering a solar minimum its posted directly on their website Solar Minimum is Coming | Science Mission Directorate solar minimums tend to cool the earth until the sun starts getting active again, lots of science behind it Texas usually is above 100 for all of August and that hasn’t happened this month we are in the high 90s instead of 100s majority of this month (for Dallas anyways).
