We are now at 36 total cases, 1 death and one recent hospitalization, 19 active cases in the county.

Risk of being infected by this increase indicates I need to continue with mask, gloves and other protection.

Sneeze guards are costly but so is death.

The population is pretty spread out here so we've been keeping tabs the entire panhandle which comes in at 5,131 as of today. The total cases right now for the two most populated counties in the panhandle (where I do all my shopping, yay me) are 2783 and 748, with 6 new ones yesterday and 1 new death which makes 43 dead for those two. 19,621 tests given, 617 still pending.

    149 are 0-19 years old, 601 are 20-29, 810 between 30-39, 722 are 40-49, 680 50-59, 379 are 60-69, then 101 for the 70ish year olds and 89 people over 80 years old.

There's actually more but the DOE facility has done some magic juju that keeps their numbers off the reports. The first one that came out made it to the news, but was scrubbed within a few hours, as were all social media posts referencing infected employees. So that's fun.

Yup the CDC official numbers here are slow to change and are a lot less, magic fingers indeed!
County count is really pretty good as we too are mostly rural.
If the University opens up, unlikley, things would go bad real quick.

I figure the rioters should be boosting up the covoid 19 numbers any time now.

You see headlines stating "record numbers of cases", but I've been watching the rate at which the cases increase. What I've noticed is that the rate of cases is the same before and after states opened back up, and that's keeping in mind you won't see cases reported for at least 2-3 weeks after a person gets infected.

We old bastiges are more likely to have severe or mortal outcomes so it makes sense for us to be more careful. I think eventually we will all get it before an effective vaccine is developed, so really the best we can do is delay. I'm still using a mask, but have ditched the gloves. I wash my hands from the elbows down when I leave and after I return even though the guidance has changed to it's very difficult for the virus to be spread by touching an object.

This might be a good time to stock up on a few things while attention is on riots and why all white people, but especially white men, are bad.

Our smallish mountain county of 25,000 people has had 37 confirmed cases and 2 deaths. I've heard that the virus doesn't like altitude and our county ranges from 8,500' to 10,000'. I'd feel more confident about our future except that the number went from 33 to 37 cases in the last week - since the city folk started coming up the hill on the weekends.

Fear pron...so many are scared to live a normal life. Mission accomplished?

Based on all the lies and deceit in the numbers that are being adjusted on the fly, and can't possibly be accepted as the truth, is it true that 95% of the deaths were caused by pre-existing conditions? Is it true that most of the elderly deaths in NY were most likely going to die within a year?

I don't know what to believe, so I don't . I just wish more people would realize that this is medical tyranny, and part of a much more sinister plan. As long as I trust western medicine, they can manipulate me. After this incident, I'll never trust it again.

I guess there's always 'alternative medicine'

However, should one invest trust in 'alternative medicine', just because it is not 'western medicine'?

In the words of Tim Minchin...

    “”"By definition", I begin
    "Alternative Medicine", I continue
"Has either not been proved to work,
Or been proved not to work.
You know what they call alternative medicine
    That’s been proved to work?

I don't think the difference is between Western and alternative, it's the difference between allopathic and homeopathic. Allopathic methods tend to isolate--whether that be isolation of chemical compounds found in nature for a specific purpose, or isolation of a specific part of the body, whereas homeopathic looks at the whole human as an interconnected system.

Allopathic medicine is very successful with the tried and true methods of healing--I don't think it's quite clear on methods of curing. In other words, the parts of the science that are based upon theory are the easiest to manipulate. I would be happy to use allopathic methods to set fractured bones, even surgery, etc., but when it comes to chronic disease base on germ theory, it appears there is a manipulation being employed for profit, and worse.

Homeopathic medicine doesn't have the same approach, so it's not as easily manipulable, but doubt of it's success rates have merit, also.

Maybe removing people like Fauci, and ending the Centers for Disease Creation and the FDA would be beneficial to allopathic medicine.

Maybe so, but I'm rather fond of research first. Bear in mind that allopathy carries different meanings regionally, which is one of the problems.

I have been making and using colloidal silver for over 2 decades.
I rarely have internal problems, usually, I primarily apply it to external injuries and heal quite readily. It is what I use for hand sanitizer, because the silver does not evaporate and continues working long after I applied it. I spray my face as well, but it hasn't helped my looks.
On internal issues like bochelism, I have used cider vinegar as well. And too I have found that the sooner you deal with the symptoms of the disease the sooner you are over it, and the more you procrastinate the longer it has to get rooted in your body and it takes longer to get rid of. " like a nonworking relative living with you. "
I learned that ColdEZE has zinc, and is a valuable tool in the immune system so I add that to my diet from time to time just as a precautionary. As with all things, I have lots of stuff but I don't use it every day, only as I am inspired to.
These things I take have no side effects to think about, but modern medicine has some serious side effects and dangers if you take the wrong ones with other medications. That and those medicines age and lose potency with time and or heat and are hard to get.

Do they still have a >80% false positive rate?[pop]

Sounds more like Tamanny Hall--it's not the votes, it's the counters! Keep counting![loco]

How you can trust a single word coming out of these people's mouths after what they've pulled on society, is beyond my understanding. Please stop letting yourself get okie-doked so easily.

What are you ASSuming I listen to?
My wife works at a hospital so I listen to her, I don't rely on anyones 3rd hand information that's probably BS one way other other.

If anything there were 80% false negative tests early on.
My wife has seen plenty of these. The first tests the used old people would come in sick with cold like symptoms they would test them, would be negative, send them home and they would come back in a week in way worse shape, get sent to Lubbock where they used a different lab and test positive for china virus.
