I have shot a 625 before and all I can say is if they made any thing smoother than what I shot, which felt like a hot knife going through warm butter, I'd be happy to experience said trigger!
Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beer holder, that thing is FUGLY as hell! And caliber .45, Which one? I shoot a bunch of different .45's and there are vast differences between them! Fav. is a .457 270 grain hollow base, hollow point loaded atop 47.5 grains FFFg Hodgdons 777, smokin along at 1360 fps from a 7 1/2 barrel! That will kill any monsters you would ever find here in the states! And it's a Ruger, so you know it flat out runs like a tank, and shoots like one too! THIS is a beautiful pistol!
And from the guys who perfected revolver greatness, THE wheel gun all others are judged by, COLT! killin stuff what needs a killin since 1851!
Not .45 Long Colt or .44 Magnum? .45 ACP, really? For monsters? Color me unimpressed. I'm also pretty ambivalent about pinto pistols.
I’ve found that my 625 with really warm loads kicks harder than my 629 Classic, thus I prefer the .44 with a 180gr HP and a bunch of Unique or Power Pistol.
