I'm going out on a limb here and guess these cops were not at a " peaceful " protest. Their actions were consistent with the actions of the protesters. Cops don't show up to peaceful protests with face shields and batons.
So just as OldDude stated ,, we were most likely seeing just the part that they were wanting you to see. ,

all i see is teh video.... he walked into a line of armed police, it wasnt like he was just standing there. The video shows him taking steps toward teh police. That is not peaceful, that is aggression. Only and idiot or someone wanting to escalate walks into a line of police armed for a riot. Watch the video he steps into the police line not away from it

As it turned out, old George the Floyd is worth a lot more as a dead martyr that a live, drugged out ex-bouncer. Can't wait for the cat fight where ever shirt-tail 'relative' demands a piece of that (go fund me) pie.

According to my neighbor, with 28 years in law enforcement, they were following protocol. If you are clearing a street you give them a warning and If they fail to respond that’s their problem. It’s not negotiable or it’s worthless. The old man fell over his own damn feet. It’s not like they beat him to the ground. Sorry it happen, but from what I heard he was an activist and started the confrontation. He certainly made no effort to comply. I’m 70 but I still have brains enough not to f#$k with cops during a riot.

 

The lawyers will get most of it, and the rest will be blown within a year!

 

I've seen blowups of frames that clearly show a tube running under the back of his shirt to his right ear. Can't say if it was faked or not.

Another user who claims to be a former paramedic and ICU nurse, pointed out that "blood does NOT drain like a stream out of your ear like that."

As a former Medic and licensed EMT - I was struck by how fast blood appeared from the guys ears. Struck me as staged...

The ears are not vascular enough to supply that much blood unless the ear was TOTALLY CUT OFF! Even then, unless his heart was pumping like a race horse the blood wouldn't act that was if the ear was totally gone! As he walks up you can see padding on his lower back to his tail bone. What happened was made to happen exactly like it did. As long as the news crew wasn't allowed to film any more after the guy was down then they would get away with it. The cops were just being used by the people that staged this and the cops bosses were in on it obviously."

However the Mass Media will never follow up on this -- except to attack Trump as if The Don pushed this aging hippy to the ground....

If that picture is real, if blood comes out of your ear like that they call the coroners van, not an ambulance. If its fake blood then you're fine.
