Heard on or read on one of my news feeds that they both worked security at the same club for a time. That is interesting...
It still doesn't excuse his actions nor does it excuse the non action of the other police officers while one of their own choked a man to death deliberately
the other police officers are not white NOTHING they could do.............................they did all they could NO WAY TO STOP THE white cop
Looking to motive. What else was going on between these two. I've read that Floyd was trying to get his life together and maybe he had something on Chauvin. Maybe the other cops were getting a cut. I'm sure that aspect will be investigated. All just speculation on my part.
Nothing ? Really ? Couldn't have simply said "Hey man, you're killing the guy"......or kicked the kneeler in the backside ? Or JUST ABOUT ANYTHING rather than stand around with a dumb look ? If that is what passes for 'protect and serve', all of 'em out to be lined up and shot as useless human beings.
Where I lost any sympathy for the cop was when he said "What I want you to is get up and get in the car." and Floyd responds I can't move." Been in a similar situation where three cops were pushing me up against the truck (No resistance at all on my part and trying to follow their instructions) One yelling get on your knees, another screaming keep your hands on the rail, the third screaming STOP RESISTING! Then they run my DL and Ooops wrong red Dodge and Wrong person "Sorry and have a nice day sir." How in the hell does anyone comply with police instructions in that situation!

Exactly, that is where the mystery about this entire incident grows even more curious. It sure looks like Mr. Floyd knew something about one or all of these officers, and he was being permanently silenced for it. Strictly conjecture on my part based upon the sequence of events.
2 of the officers were on training and like 5 days into it. The would no more question their FTO than an army recruit defy a DI. They were there to be taught how to do the job and are trained to believe the FTO knows more about how things work in the real world.
Floyd and the Chauvin worked security for the same business. IMO something personal was involved and racism may have been an element. Floyd complied to every request and even waited in his car for the police to arrive. I hope that justice is served and that this never happens again regardless of the race of suspect and officer.
