I was thinking the same thing ,, but its not much different than a roadside bomb. They've got to advance if they're going to stay in the game ,,, some of them might be starting to think it's not worth dying for,, so they've got to conserve all the fighters they've got and this is another way of doing it. Hopefully it's not sighted in very well.
