Thank you for the information. I've recently gone through a very painful kidney stone episode, and like most things in life for me I tend to ignore it. Of course, when it prevented me from eating and sleeping, I had to go get it checked out. I was told I had a 2mm stone, it should work its way out, and I got some halfway decent pain meds for a few days. A week later, I guess it's out, I wouldn't know. I eat a metric ton of meats and occasionally some veggies, but every day I eat a can of spinach and load my food with salt. I also drink tea like a British Aristocrat on holiday, plenty of sugar, and a little cream (but only in the morning). I drink only pure water (triple rev. osmosis filtered, double charcoal filtered, double UV treated) and tested at less than 6ppm TDS. Plus, it's winter...I don't do much here or at work most of the time. Now, in the summer (provided we have one. Usually it's 9 months of winter, and 3 months of 'not winter') I usually go out more and I use the elliptical daily in the summer, too. I just hate winter, hate cold. I love my electric blanket, though. I don't care much about hospitals and doctors, no offense to those people in the field. It's just creepy and filled with weak old sick people all the time, which is even more creepy. By the way, the nurse took 6 vials of my blood (perhaps 7, I may have lost count). And about the only good thing about the visit was that I found out what was happening.
About the same here,Back in 2016 I was sucking down Dasani water,10-K,Gator aid and ended up with a 6x10mm and a 3x6mm in the right kidney,The 6x10 had probably been with me for a couple of years. I also carried the cell phone on my right hip,Not saying that this is related to the stones,But I suspect it indeed may be. Have since cut out a lot of that Yuppie drinks...and moved the cell phone to the left?
By the time I got there, time in service, I was way past Hotel Street but I did drive by once and was going fast enough that I didn't figure I caught anything contagious. I quickly learned there was another group, much like sailors, which had the dough and came to play. Tourist Girls on the horizon. All Ahead Flank! I spent my off time at a beach house on the east coast, Kaneohe, or at the free parking area (Mil Sticker) at the Ml Reservation down town. Easy walk to all the good bars with real entertainment. So much fun, so little time off.
Do be careful not to try and force a kidney stone. My uncle developed a kidney stone about the time he turned 50 and didn't realize just exactly how serious it was. He ended up trying to force the stone and it ruptured his bladder. He felt much better initially with the easing of pain, until sepsis set in and he almost died. Over a week in the hospital on intravenous antibiotics and a twenty five thousand dollar medical bill (after negotiating it down from sixty five thousand with a full cash payment).
Water is an excellent natural resource to refresh our body, regularly drinking water is providing so many health benefits to the body. Minor kidney stones present in the kidney organ's is easily eliminate by drinking plenty of water.
