I say I am. Of course without proof. I’m confident in my abilities though. Yup. I feel I’m the best. (Yes I’m bored) :D

Automobiles, not sexy tractors. I’d need 15 minutes on one of those to be the best. :D

I've owned a few musclecars, and watched Dukes Of Hazard, Smokey & The Bandit, etc. With all the stupid car stuff I survived, I must be a heck of a good driver! ;)

If it has a stick, I can push it... been running heavy ranch equipment since 13 YO.
Ran everything up to a HEMTT in the Army.
Was pulling trailers as a child... never done long haul but sure I could take a day or so and run it... 40 ft. trailers.... Fttt.
Hay wagons on Granny was daily. Ran HUMV's through all the nasty stuff....

Now I grind my 1950 TO-20 tractor through my 8 acres of muck an such.......
Bring it- I can hit you on the line... but I get a heck of a wobble at 4th gear in the tractor at full speed...... :)

    Zimmy Wait, I'm not ready!

If it's got more than one wheel I've probably been paid to drive it.

    Forklift Rodeo anyone?

One of my brothers had a Barracuda the same year. IMO Dodge had the best looking and best performing muscle cars of the era.

Me? I'm a grey man driver. Instinctively never wanted to stand out in a crowd and on the road is no different. Must be a response to growing up during the cold war and even as a kid watching the news and paying attention. No tattoos, no unusual hair cuts, piercings, clothes, etc.. You never noticed me or remembered ten minutes later of you did. If I had a muscle car it would have looked like your average wife and two kid Joe's on the outside and even sounded like it.

I could to drift my 6 speed dodge dually on the country roads out to our old farm, much to the terror of everyone inside the cab.

I've driven 2 by 2s, 4 by 4's, 6 by 6s and the big trucks that shoo-hah and bend in the middle.

    The funest one was

The "Thing" used Bug running gear. The Safri used Bus running gear, the GVW was astounding.

You would also freeze your ass off.

I sold it to a gun dealer.

He mounted a Ma Duce on the roll bar - for "rabbit hunting".

Back when I was a kid, muscle cars were everywhere and cheap, nobody wanted them, they were loud, drank gas, had poor brakes, and bad handling. Perfect for a teenager with some wrenches and a few bucks burnin a hole in his pockets! I still remember a 1970 Road Runner Hemi 4 speed for sale, baby blue with white interior, $3500 cash, and it sat parked for sale for 4 years! This Challenger is special, and I knew it even back then! I wanted a 66 Charger 383, but.............I spent two summers and tons of lawn mowing and paper route money fixing it back up and modifying it, because it was just an old worn out muscle car, and nobody much cared! Little did any of us know it would be worth a small fortune today, we lived in the NOW! The Fall of my senior year in high school, I had one of the baddest muscle cars in the whole PNW, something I would have to prove many times, and One by One, I would take them down, my Buddy Roger had a 71 Buick G.S. stage 1 455 that was seriously quick, Mike had a 72 Javelin SST 401 that was wicked fast, and Tony had the 70 Cuda 383 4 speed that could actually go around corners. Hillary had a 69 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed that was really quick, and Romero had a 69 Camaro SS 327 that supprized quite a few who thought they could drive! Man, end of the day we would all go out to the student parking lot and admire each others cars, do a little garage racing, then hit the streets and race for real! I got a LOT of racing in, this Challenger could really launch and that big 440 would scream to red line and ever gear would spin the rear tires, NOBODY could beat me unless he had half his engine sticking through the hood, or was packing the giggle gas, and even then, I could still get the better hole shot most of the time! Gas was cheap too, thank goodness, because it cost me $5 per day just to drive too and from school and maybe to the girlfriends house. I had to "borrow" dads pickup if I wanted to go fishing, or had to go help the grand parents at their place an hour away, the pickup got better millage! Funny thing is, Dad got the first speeding ticket in this car, I let him drive it and he came home about 2 hours later and was kind of laughing, kind of pissed, apparently he thought that 440 sounded pretty good going through the gears and got pulled over doing 60 in a 30, $120 ticket, and today he still gets a great big grin when we take it out and clear out the pipes!
