Should it be: "Carry one" Or "Don't let the government take them" Both seem reasonable to be the number one rule. I think it's don't let the government take them. If they take them it will make carrying one a lot more difficult.
All the above! Ain't nobody gonna catch me with with out one, and if they do, it better be frickin empty!
Don't assume the gun is unloaded.......it saves a lot of grief. and possibly.....don't do a backflip on a dance floor whilst carrying....
Poll needs a third choice, "neither." First is "Always treat a gun as if it was loaded." The only exception that I can think of is if it's in pieces on the bench.
This question all depends on who you ask ,, Gun Safety means different things to different people... For example ,, to normal people,, gun safety basically means treat every gun as its loaded. To a democrat ,, it means ,,, turn in all of your guns and we'll protect you.
I was taught a gun is drawn and shot, not wave around to intimidate an aggressor to give up. If you are taking 10 seconds to aim, your out of practice. If you are taking time to load your weapon that is the time you've given your enemy against you. If you can't shoot accurately from the hip, your out of practice. It is likely that your enemy already has you in his sights. Gun safety is literally all in your head. Stupid happens when you don't think.
I saw a meme showing off how stupid anti gun lefties are. The meme posed the question why do dumb rednecks need to protect them selves from the government with assault weapons when in the entire history of the US government, the government has never had the military turn its weapons against US citizens. They either never bothered to look at any of that history, don't consider the Indians people or us citizens or both, forgot about the war of northern aggression, ect. They specifically said "the military" to avoid all the instances of militarized police doing it.
