Turned In Retirement Papers On Monday

    After 7 weeks of radiation therapy daily and 8 weeks of chemo, and considering my other problems and age, Sweetie and I had a short discussion and I turned in my retirement notice to my boss yesterday afternoon, effective Friday, March 13. Yaaaayyy!!!!

    My short term disability benefits are running out, so time to give someone else a chance for employment in interesting times. We've been moving things to our New Place and getting ready for a garage sale at the old place, a good cleaning, and then up for sale.

    Yep, I'll still be here.

    Retirement can be a different kind of busy, with different priorities, different goals and objectives...a time for change and reappraisal, and adjustment for both you and your wife...I hope that your transition to retirement is smooth and trouble free,

    Some good ideas here. I been fishing locations around our new place for.almost 2years now, so got that covered. I am waiting for the weather to warm up some to resume metal detecting around these parts. I plan on getting my General bam license in a couple of months, already got my Technician's license. I have about another 8-10 things on the list.

    Found that out when I retired about a year and a half ago.
    I still can't seem to find the time to get everything done.
