Gougers hit the N99 Mask Market

Where can I get a UV lamp or light bulb I’ve tried looking around but looks like the typical light bulb ones have funny backs to them so would not work for a regular socket?

 

Sad that everyone wants to gouge on this. Big thing on this one is droplets. Need to think of how you'll respond if someone sneezes on you in line. Just this week in my local hardware chain, couple of folks walking down the main aisles hacking and coughing. Bet they are the same ones who spit in the parking lot.

If this gets bad, I'll put on shoe covers and Tyvek coveralls with gloves and mask and ditch 'em before I go in the car. Have UV battery operated UV-c light to treat door handles. Watch those cart handles, my friends.

 

Good thing I have some powerful NDT inspection grade black lights to use if needed. Now to figure out how to mount it over my front door.

Check rock hunting as well as NDT supply sites for some UV lights if you want. I have special glasses I wear when using mine.

 

Some on ebay that are self-contained with the regular socket base. Also some units for aquariums that are correct spectrum lights. Have noticed over the last few weeks that the pricing is easing upwards though.

 

I have those industrial UV sterilization tubes.
I fired one up to near full power in open air at night, any bugs that flew near it got their wings scorched.

 

Masks like N95 that are worth a damn for stopping dust are starting to come back.

 

I leave mine on the dash board in the car. It gets over 200 degrees in there.
