Dammit. I’ll bet that hurt.

 

Looking at the cargo scattered around the area, with one that the scooter driver has to ride around before she gets to the forklift I'd say that she was cutting through an area where scooter traffic shouldn't have been. That said, every professional forklift operator I've ever seen will drop his forks to the deck if he's idle. I don't know if this was policy or just habit, but it seems to be a good idea.

I'll let you tell him that. I look like a skinny Santa Claus in a Hawaiian shirt, and learned a long time ago that you can't judge a book by it's cover... or in my case a Force Recon operator from a supply clerk.
