Hello all, I have been lurking around the site for a while now and finally decided to get all official and register. Not too much exciting about me, I have always been interested in prepping and survival, but have recently over the past few years been getting into a self-reliant type lifestyle. I've been a ham radio operator since pretty much forever, and actually found the site from an article on the "Off Grid Ham" site about Comm Security. Looking forward to learning a lot more on here, and maybe even passing on some information, if I have any. Thanks for having me. J-Woodsman
Welcome. A noisy bunch and a little unruly at times, but a lot of nuggets of wisdom as well. Looking forward to any comments you might add to the troop of monkeys.
Glad you're aboard. Going off your username, you may have some knowlege to give us as well as taking some away. Well, that's a GOOD thing.
I'm new too and haven't even officially introduced myself. I am off conventional grid, also not a ham but I have a ridiculous amount of RF two-way radio and antenna systems knowledge and experience to share if it would ever help anyone. Note: I might change my Flower avatar so people don't think I'm a chick, (so far no ones hit on me yet for it), but the hibiscus photo I took last summer came out pretty good and the intricate detailing of the flower looks extra terrestrial! Happy modulating!
Welcome to the Monkey @JediWoodsman and @offgrittyt . Grab a branch and hang on tight.....BYOB (bring your own bananas).
Welcome @JediWoodsman and @offgrittyt ! We are all here to learn from and share knowledge and experience with each other.
Thanks all! I noticed that a lot of forum responses were last responded to for example in 2018 and so on. Was this place more oro-active once upon a time? Is everyone pretty much talked out by now??!!
