"Discharging a barreled weapon..." That's a new one. It was not a firearm, because it was pneumatic or spring operated. (BB's and pellets recovered.)

When I first heard the story I keyed in on the term weapon. Soooooo, a non-barreled weapon could be a sling shot, bow, catapult, or taken to the extreme, a spigot mortar.

Effective range is stated as 115 yards, with a maximum range of 350 yards. (Fat chance!) Reading historical accounts I found that truly effective range was nearer 35 meters. Gunners needed nerves of steel to let tanks get in that close.

We adopted a Military Working Dog (War Dog). He is a HUGE German Shepard. Partly because of the steroids they pump into them. He is a multi tour vet and a true badass dawg. No doubt in my mind that he would die to protect his "pack". He has especially bonded with the grandson. So much so that NO ONE can discipline him with out removing Maximus to another room first. If you are playing with Piglet(Gson) and he starts to squeal, Max WILL intercede. Nothing violent, but will make his presence known.
People are not the only ones that experience PTSD. If you want a dog, have the time, space, and most of all patience I urge you to check out the adoption program.
Be WARNED: Many of the dogs will have health/psych problems. They make great pets but often have special needs. They are often forgotten veterans and cast aside, but with love and understanding are only wanting to find their new best friend and settle into a post war world.

I actually heard the claim when this was brought up phrased as "So what, Antifa and Occupy rallies cleaned up after themselves". I know locally we have spent untold thousands cleaning up after them let alone what New York must have shelled out.
