    Arisaka Type 97? (And you are left handed?)

    But the barrel looks a bit thin for some reason, and the bent bolt handle is not normal for originals. dunno.

    Type 97 Jap sniper. Rifle is all original, apparently unissued when found. Scope is correct, although unfortunately not the one serialized to the rifle.
    No adjustments. Shoots 4" left and 4" high at 100 yards.

    The rifle is just resting on the box. Shooting position is to the left. It's a pretty safe bet that there were no left handed Japanese snipers. Would be challenging with the offset scope.

    This is my parents hometown ,, was a really nice place back in the late 60s and 70s . Learned a whole lot from that town and it's people back then ,, some of the best memories of my life from that town .

    I'm seeing a dog. Tail is too small in diameter for a cat and it doesn't have the muscle structure of a big cat.

    Can't see the tips of the ears well enough to be sure but appears to be a bobcat. And one that is well fed too. Missing any chickens,lambs,......small children or ankle biter dogs?
