A nice example of gas lighting, and trivialising a subject (such as sexual harassment) which is not funny. Sexual harassment is not 'silly': it is a crime.

 

I don't see this as an educational thread. It's in humor, after all. RTFQ. Erudite explanations and deep analysis not needed, sez me, anyway. Laugh, don't laugh, whatever, but I suggest taking offenses off the forum. PMS and you can use the report feature. For one thing, to me, even in the humor forum, the arguments and sniping is getting onerous.
Yeesh. I'll willingly take heat for this post as long as the idea gets across before it's deleted as off topic.

Chell , believe me when I say I respect your views , and appreciate them , and you're pretty articulate at quite a few of them . But , we're poking a little fun here , nothing serious . In my opinion , you may be out numbered in this fun poking , sarcastic area . It's not a personal attack on anyone , just poking fun . I met a few of your Aussie brethren here in the states about 15 years ago , a couple of Australian Vietnam Vets . These were a couple of fun loving fellas . Put close to a 1000 miles on the motorsickles with these fellas thru a few states . But I'm starting to think you may be a little more thin skint than them fellas . No disrespect to ya . But if you think a few of these words or memes are offensive and sexual harassment . You need to come hang out with me with a few of these country gals I know , they'll having ya beet red in the face if you're the shy type . And if they find out you are , you'll be running off with your tail between your legs ,,, Ease up ol' chap ,, we're just trying to have a little fun .
