    Vacations are for yuppies. I like to volunteer at a local homeless shelter or soup kitchen for a couple of weeks. Maybe relax with a cup of tea and a movie. That's all I need.

    Having sex with Alexis Bledel anywhere
    Riding dirty with Jolene Blalock in Morocco

    Moi . . .

    Born 50 years ago in Indiana (Mom's a hoosier too!), but Dad brought us to sunny Florida when I was 3. Grew up here.

    Four years USAF - Tyndall AFB in Panama City, Florida.
    Six years USN - half on the USS Ainsworth (FF1090) home-ported in NORVA. Three years of PAID Caribean Vacations!! [beer]
    Final year at NAVCAMSLANT, NORVA.

    Three years in airport security - got tired of the stupid passengers and dumb airport management.

    Been a Computer Professional for the last 17 years in Florida's Dept. of Education. Probably stay here and retire. My job skills are narrow (Mainframe) - can't really compete against the young folks in the Modern IT World. Somebody has to keep the Digital Dinosaurs running. [LMAO]

    I dont know about Sea but Out here Gandy dancer is a term for a railroad track worker in the old days.... if I remember correctly?

    Yep, that it was. Still is, I think. I tried finding out where the term came from once upon a time, but never found anything on it.

    The term Gandy-dancer comes from a fork-type spade that is used to tamp ballast rock beneath the cross-ties to level the track. The rail is jacked up until it is level and the fork is used to push the ballast under the tie by jumping up and down on it; kinda looks like a hip-hop dance. The forks are manufactured by the Gandy tool company.
