The military is now able to target individuals with a (very expensive) Hellfire variant. I didn't have a problem with the 'old' HE warhead - I mean, dead is dead, yes? Still, a major advance. Wonder when the 'feed n image of targeted person ' to a drone comes?
No problems here with collateral damage from a PROPERLY AIMED HE warhead. What's wrong with (relatively) inexpensive?
I am betting a lot less collateral damage while maintaining the high kill ratio. Besides, why should they care about the cost since you and I are paying for it...so they don't.
If it can be targeted that accurately why does it need the blades? The impact from the missile itself should be more than sufficient. If it tore through the roof of that car, simply being struck with it should be plenty enough to cause a fatality.
