History,don't like it,change it!

I sure heard some interesting versions of what is going on right now. (Angry Democrats who hate Trump, versus reality)I try to put myself in the other guy's shoes to understand where they are coming from. I can't get myself to believe as Liberals do. It's a crazy world.

 

The alteration of history isn't limited to any particular political ideology. It's not even necessarily intended to be an altered history as it is colored by the expectations and prejudice of the author. They may well intend for the history to be accurate though it becomes inaccurate due to limitations of a human. We see what we want or expect to see. When we don't see that we tend go into at the least a partial denial.

 

A bit like Angry Republicans who hate Obama, versus reality....believing as some 'Conservatives' do, can be just as stultifying as believing as some 'liberal's do.....just that both extremes of the spectrum tend to congratulate their own perceptions of reality....and self righteously sh1tbag their opponent's version of reality as false and deluded....ever will it be so I think.

 

True, however, some folk have a remarkable capacity for tolerating cognitive dissonance.
