Motivational Poster Thread (warning content)

Back in the mid 80's. On a deployment. We had a Bob Hope show come over. Then a little while later a USO show came over. There was about a 1/2 dozen or so Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders came over and did a little show for us. They were some very pretty ladies . Still got a few pics in a box somewhere. Anyway , one of the ladies was an elementary school teacher as well as a cheerleader. During one section of their show , one of the girls made an announcement that the school teacher missed a good bit of her teaching job because of her cheerleading job , which , if I remember right , the cheerleading job only paid about 125 bucks a year. Well the school teacher was told that if she took the time off of teaching to come over seas to do that show , she would be fired. I believe if we'd have had access to our paychecks , that gal could have made a years salary right then. I've often wondered over the years if in fact she did lose her job over that. This would have been in early '85 , she was a redhead , so if anyone can find out with your 'puter prowess ,,,, let me know.
