not sure I even need to say that... as avoiding diseases n such is pretty much common practice for preppers IIRC...

but IMHO this is one of the major reasons immigration control was set up...

quarantine that was implemented long ago when dealing with immigration had a purpose...

that new polio like illness???



A recent report finds that 50 illegal aliens a day are turning up at the southern border with TB, flu, parasites and all kinds of other diseases.

With tens of thousands of illegals piling up at the border, there is a lot of scrutiny on the illegals trying to get in the country. But, liberals are pulling out all the stops to cover for illegals. One way they make excuses for them is to naysay the claims of conservatives that many of these illegals are bringing pestilence and disease into the country.

But recent reports find that conservatives are exactly right. These people are, indeed, racked with diseases and vermin as they try to illegally sneak into our country.

And many of them will go to work in agriculture.......... picking, processing, packing and restaurants.

 

My wife sees them all the time with untreated, raging TB.

 

and then you get a recall of some food.... or a notice of folks needing medical attention for eating there... etc...

 

IIRC there is a new strain even harder to treat then the one we USED to have here?

 

part of this illegals scenario is the very real possibilty of a major epidemic getting started - they find 100 crammed into a small house or some semitrailer - once across the border they crawl into a house with 25 guys sharing one bathroom & kitchen >>>> then they are off to their restaurant job contacting food & people all day long ....

freaking damn nitemare ...

This is another reason why we need a border wall. When immigrates came to America (the legal way!) Ellis Island was a place to separate those with illness that can be treated. After that they were cleared for further processing to become citizens.

 

Quarantine them for 90 days

 

The immigrant ships anchored south of New Orleans back in the day at a place named Quarantine bay which still exists to this day!
