While this seems so obvious, it is not. Speak the truth (from your perspective and belief system) and with honesty (according to your interpretation of the event). Even 'experts' have be known to lie while under oath and on the stand, as they are speaking from their point of view, value system and beliefs. If I remember correctly it was the TV show Dragnet or maybe it was Adam 12 not sure, but the famous line was "Just the facts, mam, just the facts".
