OK,I'm thinking about getting the Taurus g2c in 9mm when I get my tax refund next year. Reading and watching several reviews and handled one at Academy makes me want to go to the dark side of plastic pistols. Now, my question is,what is safe to use for cleaning? Does polymer require a special cleaner? Got stuff to do steel without harm. Hopefully it will be dishwasher safe! LOL.

Having recently gone to the dark side of pistols myself I recommend washing gently in a Dawn dish soap solution and slowly oven dry at, oh say, the broil setting.
They're more helpful than I would be. I read the thread title and immediately pictured gasoline burning emersion heaters in metal trash cans. The old mess tent arrangement for cleaning mess kits. Hmmmm? Actually that's not a bad way to clean a Glock.
