Over the years I have had some really good dogs. Bandit, he was a full blooded wolf. Mad Max he was a boarder terrier whip it mix. Rambo he was a twin to mad Max and now Scout. I am a person that don't have many friends. I mean I have friends but I don't hang out with a group of people, my dog is my best friend. I would say we do a lot together. Here is Scout my best friend, he likes to work.
I agree with the others. Dogs are loyal, brave and protective of their owners. Never had one betray me, yet. I can't say that about people.
He listens to commands pretty good but this is what he loves to do it's just pretty hard to do around here anything small he will be on if I yell him to. This is what they use them for over in England and other places.
Warning ,,,this story may contain bloodshed,,,,,,,,,, A buddy of mine used to raise some small terrier dogs that hunted like Ole Scout there . This guy used to train the dogs , and he would travel used them in competition hunts. Well , a friend of his that raised the same type of dogs was moving to Tennessee a few years back , and he wasn't moving to where he was going to be able to keep his dogs ,,,so he tried to sell them to my buddy. My buddy said he couldn't afford them , or have the place for them , with the ones he already had. Well , the guy moved to Tenn., took the dogs and set up in the neighborhood. While the guy was at work one day , his dogs got loose. The guy got a call from his wife and said ,,,,You need to come home now, he gets home , dogs are loose . So he starts collecting the dogs. What happened was,,,,the dogs got loose ,,got out of the fence ,,,running thru the neighborhood ,,,,being the good dogs they were,,,,they spied a cat. So here's 8-10 small dogs chasing this cat , at catlike speeds. They chase this cat behind a house , and follow this cat behind the house , and in thru the doggie door. Where the housewife was in the kitchen, doing kitchen stuff . Here is where the dogs caught the cat , and 8-10 small dogs ripped this lady's cat to pieces right before her eyes. Cat screaming ,,,dogs growling and barking,,,pitter patter of little feet and claws scratching the floor , and the housewife screaming in terror .. My buddy said he got a call from his friend that day ,, said he needed to sell those dogs quick ,,and he could get them super cheap,,as he had to get rid of them before the law confiscated and euthanized his dogs. And there's your Halloween doggie story . But it is a true story.
