There is a Rossi 92 in .480 Ruger on Gun Broker now with a bid of $700.00. I thought you would like to know as Rossi made only 100 in .480 Ruger. The Rossi 92 is a fine gun in any caliber.
The reason I got the .454 was so I could run 45 long colt through it as well . What advantage is there over .454 , in .460 or .480 ?
My opinion I would never fire any magnum or high powered round in a Rossi pistol about +P is all I'll risk on a regular basis. Save your lunch money and buy a Ruger.
Ochit...a Rossi 92 is a lever action rifle, not a pistol. Mine (R92 in .357mag) is worlds apart from their earlier handgun offerings. The chintzy safety is the only thing I don't care for.
Sorry your correct their rifles are fine to handle most all calibers. I have had a few name brand pistols and a couple of Rossi pistols that failed to digest magnum loads without some problem.
It's still there, @ghrit .... https://www.gunbroker.com/item/778731436 looks like a LA area code, too. Wonder if the wife wants it LOL
Yeah, that's gunbroker, not the Rossi catalog. I just cannot get eager about bidding on something I can't get my grubby mitts on for a looksee.
