How to reanimate the walking dead or hangover cures...

My palate simply will not tolerate "house brands" passing my gullet. Only the good stuff makes the cut, here.

 

House brands leave me with a headache that has nothing to do with "hangover" or dehydration. I've walked out of a couple of places that wanted 5-10x to go from their house brand vodka (Aristocrat) to anything else. For the record, Aristocrat is no better than paint thinner and it ALL sucks, regardless of what the label calls it (vodka, bourbon, whiskey, triple-sec, rum, brandy or schnapps). The delta between them is simply too small to measure.

 

This thread has me reminiscing about the "good stuff" - before I realize what proper alcohols were. I'm talkin' MD 20/20, Ripple, Pabst Blue Ribbon, etc. Talk about hang overs?! Good Lord, did I ever get them back then! Dehydration City, baby!
