I don't think all walmart have it but you could call around. Federal 420 round case for $174 Remington golden bullet 22lr 1,625 in some kind of sealed plastic bucket for $74. Looks like they're on clearance, may not be around long. My local walmart some white guy bought them all up right after I saw them. I just noticed I got Remington auto corrected to remote. Ha. Then it took me 3 trys to get it to leave the word "Remington" unaltered.
I was in Walmart today and didn’t see any sale ammo. While I was there someone announced of the intercom, “customer needs help at the gun counter.” For some reason it made me smile.
I personally stay away from the Remington bullets in a bucket, 10/22 hates em', CCI and Winchester are my go to plinkers.
Upper Midwest based Big R store chain just had a 500 count brick of .22cal hollow points for $25 - $$$$ are popping up better all the time on ammo ....
Every Wally world I've been too around here has ammo for now. Including 22lr. Post panic prices are starting to come down from the stratosphere. They have every thing I shoot except 8mm Mauser, but a few LGS's stock this round around here.
Looks like they are really doing the ammo case at some walmarts. Got some 20 packs of 20ga slugs for $3.50.

While in NC this weekend I picked up some CCI Stingers, the favorite digestible of my 10/22. Here in SC at the beach, there are still old assholes waiting at the counter and buying all of the .22 as soon as it's put out. I always get the same story, 1 or 2 old guys waiting at 8 a.m. and buy it all.
Ever since that bitch lost her rigged election the ammo case went from empty to full almost over night. Then 22lr came back about 3 months later. I think it was mostly old ammo hordes buying up everything. They say to pay attention to your elders. I don't know if that's such a good idea since you hear about old people getting scammed all the time.
Saw some 40sw at Walmart for cheap like it had been on clearance for a while. Then some 410 fed 3 inch 7.5 shot $9 for 25. I'm going to let the 410 sit and get marked down again before I buy. I don't use a lot of 410 and don't really need any.

Before the two box rules, I used to roll into Walmart's all over North and South Carolina with a folding hand truck. Those wise old gentlemen know a good investment when they see it. I'm still shooting up Thunderbolt .22 from 1971. I'll bet with a little networking you could find somebody who could help you beat them at the "buy it cheap, stack it deep" game.
Looked at Walmart this morning only to find nothing marked down, but the affected ammunition half gone. Looks like there was a panic run on ammo there. Not really sure why when a person could get a cheaper deal online.
