The Ball canning book has some good recipes. Try the salsa with about half the amount of vinegar called out in the recipe, and it's great. Put ripe tomatoes in the freezer in gallon ziplock bags throughout the year as you have too many to eat. Take them out, drop in boiling water, and the skin will slip. Remove skin, cook, chop, add ingredients in recipe, best salsa in town. You can also slice, dice and freeze onions and peppers to use in the salsa or other dishes.

Starting now, every other month I'm sending my prepping money to Ron Paul. I see getting him elected as more important than prepping. He's are last chance.

    Amen brother.

THe Neos are rolling out Fred Thompson as a Reagan-esque conservative and he is just another smooth puppet. I know the game. He was kept back to let Guilliani and Romney burn out against Ron Paul. Now he will capture the hearts and minds of the BushBots (All 28%)

Paul has smoked every Poll that wasn't fudged or taken down so far. Mainstream still calls him a darkhorse freak. I'm surprised that more here don't support this Total Constitutionalist. Makes me wonder

    Paul would
    do away with the IRS
    Cancel the ATF
Abolish the Federal Reserve and give us back real Gold backed money

WTF else does it take for Guns and Guts guys to get behind him?

30 lbs of Cat food, Two bags of Basmati rice, reloaded 500 rounds of .45 acp, 200 rounds of .223, and more water. If Ron Paul doesn't get in, we'll need it. With the Carlyle group buying up ammo plants around the world, you better get a press and make your own.
