The first time I saw this I knew it was over: I realized that if there was a sign then there were people stupid enough to do it
But, But, I thought "gas booster" meant it would increase my flatulence production for the class bus trip with Hogg...
I got to thinking that would be great for Californians to save water why wash the clothes and not the baby at the same time ? but they would need to rewrite the instructions better or those fruits and nuts would turn the baby inside out and not the garment.
My daughter knows more about cars than most of the boys at her school. One asked her what a transmission was. She was with some teenagers and the car died. The first thing the driver did(a boy) was open the hood and then the radiator cap. Spraying burning hot antifreeze on everyone present. My daughter yelled at everyone to get out of the way as this happened, Saving them a lot of pain. I can only say that being prepared is as important as it ever was.
People have been operating machinery for 100 years they don't even understand what makes it work. For 300 years guns have been around and there are still people insistent non being stupid, refusing to learn any thing about the things around them . Lawyers are the worst with frivolous lawsuits , skiers have accidents on slopes they had signed wavers for knowing it's dangerous . People look for any one to blame, and crooked courts support it. The very safest way to sell anything is to advertise it's use far different than your intended use. Those are not guns they are door handles . . If you use said door handle for something other then what it is advertised it's all on you. ( not sure you can get away with that one, but you get the idea.)
County put a sign up on the road that comes over the mountain to our valley that says: "During times of ice and snow, travel at your own risk".......I've seriously considered a 'counter-sign' posted under it that asks "Whose risk do I travel at the rest of the year ?" I've always assumed everything after getting out of bed in the morning was "at my own risk". It would seem they are leaving themselves wide open by posting a fool sign like that.
I thoroughly believe these signs are doing a dis- service to mankind,,,,,,if we didn't have to spend so much time and money trying to save the dumb ones,,,well,,,,,,you get the point,,,,
We have MORE signs than are required !!! And we are paying for them . The person who make them up to install & maintenance !! Friggin NUTS BRING ON THE CHANGE !!!
I have never understood the preservation of the stupid, it's not like they are an endangered species. At some point your would think that all these people that believe in Darwinism would allow evolution to fulfill its mandate to evolve a perfect human. Saving the stupid allows them to breed, thus making more stupid people, I guess the Democrats understand their constituents better than we give them credit, that increased IQ's and education reduces their pool of volunteers and voters so chances of winning elections. Who knew !
Funny thing, there had to be a few instances that caused some one to make the signs or lables. A buddy of mine works at a brewery, above the entrance to the shipping dock is a sign that states: "Any employee caught consuming more then 32 beers in a shift is subject to discplinary actions" no, it's not theft from the company, it's not even drunkenness, it's the fact that some one was consistantly going above that number and management decided to limit consumption for an unspecified reason! All the dock workers are fat boys, and each forklift has a built in mug holder on both sides of the safety cage!
Well I knew... the hard way... was in a hurry and not payin attention and... uhhh... never mind... was button up's for a time after... and I still paid attention to what I was doin... then there was the toilet seat thing... ugh....
