We buy a lot of bottled water. Mainly because of the wife.
She said we should try a home water cooler that dispenses hot or cold water.
    I was thing "meh".
Then I realized that it would be an excuse to stock up on 5 gallon drinking water cooler bottles. Then she told me she was paying for it.
    I had no argument.
We have had it for a week now and after realizing neither of us has used the hot water I turned it off to save power.
Just another little way to be a prepper with out looking like a crazy pepper to all the sheep.
Now the wife has no argument about getting off $50 a month coop water and using our 16 inch bore diameter well that can recover at least 100gpm.

I don't know but I remember seeing these and they pull water from the air and look like a water cooler need to check reviews and insure they are a good buy, they are powered so -----

It is a simple condenser unit. It WILL provide water, good water at that, as long as the humidity is high enough. A common room dehumidifier will do the same. The keys are two:
Price - I don't see one listed, but might be someplace on the site I didn't get to.
Quantity - If we assume those model number represent some production rate, it might take a few dehumidifiers to match up.

They do give an estimated price for the water produced, but how long is the amortization period?
Note that they are discontinuing a number of models, gotta wonder why, and I am NOT sufficiently curious to call and ask. YMMV.

Good call, for sure. Those water dispensers use like 120 watts to cool the water, and around 800 watts to heat it.

You have a 16" diameter well? What size pump (pumps?) do you have in it?

When I do rain water catchment the A/C evaporator coil water is going into the cistern.
From what I collect from each A/C unit I might be able to get 2 to 5 gallons per day which would be around 5% per day.
    Every little bit helps.

Right now my well has nothing but water in it.
Hell it cost $900 just to get the old seized up six inch agricultural pump pulled out. The well is 120' deep with water at 108'.

Since its 16 inches in diameter I will likely put multiple submerged pumps down there.

Just looked at the water containment in my dehumidifier........ I think there is less crap in the stock ponds lol.

No doubt. You could probably drop a DC pump attached to a solar panel or two, as well as 240 vac and 120 vac pumps, if you wish. That's a lot of room for a bore, for sure.

One of the pumps will likely be a 24vdc pump.
I would potentially set up a 24v pump as a backup.

Didn't @JC Refuge post a link awhile back on dehumidifiers that make potable water?
