    As I worked on vacuum tube UHF radios in the Navy, this hits my funnybone! One of my favorite "fixes" for a radio not putting out enough power was to slide the chassis out of the heavy case and give her a sharp slap. More times than not, output power would rise to proper level.

    The metroplex area has 424,858.

    Anchorage AK is filled by 40 percent of the work force in Mat-Su, who commutes daily to Anchorage jobs. This is ~36,000 that travel over a single road and cross two bridges that, if lost, that will cut off the Valley, stranding these thousands.

    How many folks would stuck in your city if there was a loss or road access?.
