(On Netflix) Watching fire wood burn on the computer is fun for a while ,but just for a while .
But making a big production out of it Just about board me to tears .
I don't mind reading the translation sub titles ,and the music was interesting ,but I hd hoped that would be more bushcraft in it . Nope just fire wood.

    I once met a girl,
    Or should I say,
    She once met me...
    ...wasn't it good,
    A Norwegian would.

    She lay on A keyboard,
    And set herself on fire,
I don't know why she did it?
    We had a deep fryer...
    ...Didn't it burn good.
    Norwegian wood.

With apologies to John Lennon and Paul McCartney

Norwegian 'slowTV' may be an acquired taste for some....fast food, fast transport, fast internet speed, and the expectations of instant gratification that comes with a fast world may spoil our appreciation of 'slow' living....and 'slow TV'.

I look at Norwegian 'slow TV' as being like a person, sitting down to look at, and immerse oneself in a painting by Pieter Breugel The Elder, as contrasted with the impatient cavalcade of images momentarily displayed in a frenetically paced slide show.

Sometimes, taking the time to immerse oneself in what one is looking at, can be more satisfying than frantic novelty.

    Thanks for sharing that .
The national day of fire wood is what I was referring to .
There are other fire place views that are nothing but the fire an no music or narration but the sound of the popping and crackle of the fire .These are nice to have at home when I draw, just in place of being in the woods and my own camp fires.
