Troubleticket.... Sorry... the last sets and DVDs are all gone now... SeaCowboys... Feral Pig, Deer, goat, Mongoose, Turkey (all in a shtf or emergency type situation of course... its against our hunting laws to do otherwise)... oh and dog (Feral Poodles and shitzus), cat, pidgeon, dove etc... got the fishing part too.... fish, shrimp, crabs, lobster, eel etc....
Mongoose were introduced to Puerto Rica several yars ago to control the snakes. They ate all the native birds and eggs so now it is almost rare to even see a bird other than a seagull or albatross or pigeon. Plenty of mongeese though.
Ag and Wildlife never learn... Mongoose were introduced in Hawaii to control the rat and mouse population... Duh... Mongoose are active during the day and rodents at night.... So same thing... they wipe out the birds etc.... Not smart... Ugly looking critters with red eyes... Trapped a bunch using beef jerky and a chicken wire trap.... finished them off with a pellet gun... helping to control them at my uncles place... but sheesh... we were catching up to 5-7 a day... in one trap....
Yup... my Uncle used to make it, marinade and air dry it... it was delicious... anyway... one small piece would last a very very long time in the trap... about 1/2 by 1 inch... Couldn't believe it at first when he showed me how he was trapping them...
He used lean steak... had an allowance but didn't really like meat... so he used his allowance to buy steaks.... more of a fish kind of guy.... No prepackaging.... water, shoyu sauce, sea salt, pepper, Hawaiian chili pepper... I've got the amounts written down somewhere... then he had a dry box... 2 days out in the sun and wind.... take it down, package and into the refrigerator or freezer... not the totally dry stuff.... cook, fry, broil or charcoal.. mix with vegetables or just eat it... Yum....
