We are also cancelling Dish at the end of our current billing period. I plan to rely on services like you listed above as well as getting a digital TV antenna for local channels. I was surprised to find 20 channels broadcast in my area - I used antennaweb.org to locate them and get a map that determined the channels, direction from my house, and best antenna type for each. Here is an example from a location in my state's Capitol:
