no but really i'll prob go down to the high school with my family, guns, beer and chew and go down into the shelter there. yes, the high school i went to has a bomb shelter under it.

I don't think there is much one can do. Should you not be blinded by the flash and you survive the heat/explosion you're probably going to be a walking dead due to radiation so...

Modern nuclear bombs don't use long lasting radiation. Most modern nukes use hydrogen which only lasts a month or two. Why would you ruin the countryside that you plan to conquer by poisoning yourself?
