Guess it depends on the platform/manual of arms you started with. CZ has an excellent Micro Mauser bolt action offering in 7.62 x 39 mm.

You can also use a small piece of heat shrink tube to go around the bar of the main mount. split it,heat it and it will fuse together. The sling piece will slide over the heat shrink so no metal to metal noise and should last longer than tape.

Tully, if you tell them you are military or LE, they will give you a big discount. They are good folks and make the best .22 AR-mags I have ever seen.

It does make some noise/rattle. I have used a rubberband to secure it from rattling, but It allows it to move if you need it.

Yes sir, lots of them. I looked at different ones and chose the one that would answer the questions I had. It was well worth the time and money. Some guy was there with his arrogant 19 year old son. The kid called it an assault rifle..... LOL! he won't ever do that again.
