Churchill, Nelson, and the rest would be so proud... Chamberlaine would be quite pleased...

The 1939 propaganda posters were designed to encourage optimism, resiliance and patriotism among the general populace,....while the 2017 poster is a practical guide for self preservation whilst caught up in the midst of a terrorist incident. Post #15200 Motivational Poster Thread (warning content) | Page 760 | Survival Monkey Forums suffers from the false equivalency fallacy....they do not represent the same things.

During World War II there were many posters to advise civilians on what to do in the case of Nazi terrorism.

The technology and tactics of terrorism have changed over the past 77 years, but don't confuse propaganda posters promoting optimism and patriotic resistance with 'how to' posters for personal and group survival. Apparently Winston Churchill approved then, and undoubtedly would have approved now if it meant that the enemy's goals were frustrated and defeated.

Evidently there are anti terrorism posters that are just a little more aggressive than the one featured in your earlier post.

Curious as to which government agency distributed these? The fact is that the UK is doing everything it can to turn it's subjects* into bleating sheep who are completely at the mercy of whatever is around them with only official government agencies to protect them. Subjects in the UK aren't even allowed to carry a knife for protection. You have to be a dignitary or someone rich and famous to be able to have protection.

As bad as things are in Nutlandia repeated terror attacks here would be met with force from armed citizens.

*subject populations are not trusted to be adequately armed to protect themselves from threats external or internal - that is the role of the citizen.

We do. The problem would be the social costs of collateral damage.
